J. Kenneth Blackwell Is Back for 2008

Video #1: Ken, where have you been my man? It has been too long. You might think that 36.65% of the vote in Ohio in 2006 would keep Ken Blackwell out of site. Fortunately, that is not the case. Some group called Citizens United has brought airtime on Fox News for this ad promoting some video documentary.

I like seeing Ken on the campaign trail because he is a reminder of how bad Republicans can lose in Ohio. He is also a reminder of the previous administration, which our state is still cleaning up from. If they are using Blackwell they might as well use Taft too.

Video #2: Ken Blackwell Flashback to 2006: Let's take a trip down memory lane and revisit Mr. Blackwell's performance in one of the gubernatorial debates. In this clip, candidate Blackwell evokes NAMBLA in an effort to score cheap political points.

The other thing I love about this ad is the creepiness of Tucker Carlson's quote.

Kyle - the whole video is creepy. Like most of the Obama ankle biter ads of late, this one showcases just how hollowed out by termites and carpenter ants the Republican platform is

The NAMBLA tactic was, I believe, actually beneficial to Strickland

Heres hoping that Bob Taft comes out on TV for McCain
