Lebron was clearly fouled on his last shot. Disgraceful.

Too bad he and the Cavs sucked the entire second half. Too bad Larry Hughes can't make a wide open seven foot shot. Too bad they went for the win down by 1 and ran the clock out. Too bad they had no timeouts..again. Too bad Lebron made 1/2 free throws...again. Too bad their coach got a technical foul down by one. And was it "clearly" a foul..no. Was he fouled--probably but it's the end of the game and they were letting the two teams play all night. I'm a Cavs fan and have no problem with the no call. I do have a problem with the Cavs playing like total crap.

it was a foul - all the other stuff you said is true - but it was still a foul.

You only need to ask yourself one question to determine if the NBA is a sport or strictly entertainment.
Would that have been a foul if it was MJ?

No foul. He raised his arms into the Piston. Then cried like a baby.

Lebron is NOT mj.He's 22 and is no where near deserving of MJ respect now if ever. It was not as hard a foul as everyone was saying. Also, Varejao needs to stop flopping and play some defense. James stopped being aggressive and they went inside way too much slowing the game down into Detroit's style--stupid. I'm sick of watching this team play so poorly. They played bad against a HORRIBLE Wizards teamd and did not play to their ability against the Nets. They are too passive and are LUCKY they are in the EAST.

I think fouls are often called much to easily...but you have to be consistent. Judging by some of the calls throughout the game the one at the end definitely was.

Kyle, so your gonna be like every other person crying about Lebron's foul? I love the Cavs but I'm sick of hearing this argument...
Give me a break...how about crying about Hughes wide open bunnie he missed? Yeah it was a tough call, but the Cavs put them self into that position by playing like a high school JV team at the end (remember the turnovers from Hughes and Lebron at the end)
The Cavs can not finish right now, they are good, but they are not up to that level yet...
Lastly the foul by Wallace pushing Anderson down was as, if not more blatant then Lebron's hacking...Were they fouls? Yes, but if we played better at the end we would have put ourselves into a position where we don't have to rely on refs to get a call..

This series is not over...if the Cavs can get Sasha, Damon, Gibson, or someone shooting the lights out we could take it over...

Anon,
No one is arguing that the Cavs couldn't have done more to win. That doesn't change the fact that LeBron was fouled.

Saw the play. There was definitely contact, but honestly he sort of initiated it. Overall, maybe a foul. certainly not the "worst" no call ever.

as far as varejo, 1) maybe a foul by sheed. close. 2) that's what he deserves for such a flagarant overreaction. i do think flopping should be technical foul, so i cannot sympathize with him.

how about this, Lebron just makes the shot anyway? That's what great players do.

Lebron has no had about 50 chances win games on the last shot and has done it about twice. he is so damn overrated. and a nice game 3 win (even a game winning shot) will not make up for his constant, pathetic late game performances.

He is averaging 14 ppg against Detroit. Hedo Turkoglu scored 14 ppg against Detroit. So did Grant Hill. So did Jameer Nelson. So did Dwight Howard (who is legitimately better than lebron).

I don't understand the anti-Lebron stuff Chuck. LeBron didn't make himself over-rated - people like you did.

Wouldn't you have taken him with the #1 pick?

I just watched it again. He definitely was fouled on the way up.

tim, yes i would have taken him #1.

and my disliking him is related to the fact that i used to love going to cavs game, until lebron. after that, every fan worshipped him like a Beatle, while blaming every other player for anything that goes wrong. it happened from day one. and it was annoying as shit.
