Bush is so dumb. I cant believe it. He cant even talk. He really can't.

Anyone that thinks otherwise is just as dumb as Bush.

Bush didn't do too bad, but Kerry clearly won. The format worked well and Kerry looked very Presidential. I think that this race will be at exactly 50-50 and the movement back to even will result in positive momentum for Senator Kerry. I'm very happy.

I thought Kerry won - he looked better than Bush when it comes to being Presidential. Bush stumbled too much. Kerry didnt say what he would do as opposed to Bush. Wont change any minds - maybe, maybe a 1% Kerry gain

The other thing is that regardless of tonight, the next debate is Tuesday between Cheney and Edwards. There isn't much time to spin the debate. Tomorrow and Sunday's newspaper and television headlines will be very important.

Bush took a page out of 2000 and made it a little uncomfortable to watch him at times. I didn't get to see the whole debate, but Kerry seemed to maintain his calmness a little better in the highlights I saw. In that respect Kerry definitly gets and edge. But, neither had anything to say I've not heard 1000 times before. Maybe they're saving their big guns for the later debate, but I would think articulating on some specifics as to each's own plan for the country would have made a big difference. It was like watching two peacocks plume their feathers for the camera, a big spectacle for the eyes with no sustenance.

What did I learn for Michael Moore's latest film? Many scary things, scary because they might be true. Mr. Bush's performance in that debate sures up any doubt I had about the accusations in the film. He's hiding. Hiding his motives. Hiding his "special friendships'. Possibly hiding a deuce in his pants while in that debate, why else would he look so flustered and clusterfucked.

Thursday's debate was awesome. Kerry was clearly more presidential. Bush was rattled and frustrated throughout the debate because his answers are so baseless. Most of them are simply "because I say so." That may work on your kids, but it doesn't work when you're the president. I don't think Kerry has to point out what he will do differently from Bush in Iraq. We know that the Iraqis need to be trained to defend their country, and then we can phase out. Kerry did make the point that we shouldn't have been there in the first place. Hussein didn't attack us and they didn't have any weapons. Kerry's next challenge is to win over the "security moms" who feel that Bush will do a better job at protecting us. It's strange though, since Bush didn't listen to his security advisors warning him about al-Qaeda, he didn't even read the report that predicted the 9/11 attack. He didn't listen when the generals said he would need more troops on the ground in order to secure Iraq. He didn't listen when they said not to go into Fallujah before the whole al-Sadr catastrophe. So why does anyone think he'll listen to the next warning? Because he starts wars in one of the only Middle East countries that doesn't have the weapons to defend itself? That's not a well-thought-out plan for defending our country. He has created more enemies and stretched our resources so thin that we will have a hard time defending ourselves, should the threat arise again.

Kerry CLEARLY won the debate, it is a joke to suggest otherwise. Even Keeler admits to it. However I see Vicione out and about and he has the balls to say that BUSH WON the debate. That is exactly the type of bullheaded asshole that is votes for Bush. That is also why we need this guy out of office so bad, because people watch the debate and can't even see what a jackass this guy is. I would rather see Ron in office!

To be honest, I do not think the debates matter that much. That being said, I think that President Bush did do very well. It is alot easier to go up against an incumbent and promise the world many great things that are not actually feasible. And I am sorry, but I honestly do not know where the man stands on many issues. I, too, dislike the cheezy term "flip-flop", but Senator Kerry doesn't often take a clear stand and stick with it. I would prefer to be told the truth (even if there are a few stutters while it is being said), and not just be promised a happy ending and world peace.
